The Brooklyn Nets evened up the season series against the New York Knicks today at Madison Square Garden with an 88-85 win.
Brook Lopez continued his All-Star campaign with another strong game, Deron Williams’ long free-throw streak was ended, and Amare Stoudemire took another step towards returning to his superstar form.
But the action didn’t stop with the game at the Garden…
After the game, Kris Humphries tweeted out a celebratory message about quieting the Knicks crowd.
J.R. Smith took offense to this, and added yet another comeback to his 2013 portfolio:
Bringing in Humphries ex-wife Kim Kardashian and the father of her unborn baby, Kanye West. That might get the attention of the social media crowds.
The Knicks-Nets rivalry is heating up. Next chance to play could come in the form of a 7-game series, as these two teams seem to be playoff-bound.
