In one of the biggest upsets in NCAA history, 15-seed Florida Gulf Coast has defeated #2 Georgetown, 78-68 in the second round of the tournament.

A game full of exciting dunks, Florida GC overwhelmed G-Town from the start and eliminated the often disappointing in the postseason, Hoyas.FGCU was flying all over the place, playing with no fear at all.  Check out this GIF via Gifulmination:

The Eagles played with no fear, whatsoever, taking a lead at the 4 minute mark of the 1st and never letting it go, getting their lead up to double digits for most of the 2nd half.

Georgetown mounted a comeback through a run of 3’s and turnovers, shrinking the lead all the way down to four.

But Florida GC was too much for the Hoyas with clutch free throws and keeping their composure, as if they were the higher seed.

Here was another example of them making Georgetown look like the one that didn’t belong:

Gulf Coast came out of nowhere.  Well, that is not totally true.

Leading up to the game today, they did draw much talk – but it was not because of anything on the court, but off.

Much the talk was about Coach Andy Enfield’s supermodel wife, Amanda Marcum Enfield.  A former Maxim model, she was the initial reason for FGCU getting recognition.

She won’t be [as much of it!] after tonight.
