Rangers Prospect Scott Stajcer Gets Into an AHL Goalie Fight With P.K. Subban’s Brother, Malcolm

The Providence Bruins and Hartford Wolfpack had an entertaining game on Sunday night highlighted by a goalie fight.

Boston Bruins and New York Rangers prospects were involved in it, with Montreal Canadiens defenseman, P.K. Subban’s brother, Malcolm, going head to head with Blueshirts up-and-comer, Scott Stajcer.

Unlike some of the fights that have ended badly in the NHL lately, this one ended with some friendly taps from both goaltenders.

There were a total of 167 penalty minutes when all were said and done.  Perhaps that is not a surprise considering some of the Rangers bruisers sitting in the minors, like Darroll Powe, Micheal Haley, and Stu Bickel.

But as Deadspin reported, the most interesting fight involved 5’11 Ben Youds facing off against 6’5 soon-to-be Rangers blueliner, Dylan McIlrath.

Here is a video of the entire fight from HockeyFights.com:
