We started the season under the guise that perhaps Iman Shumpert could get traded at some point. Fans pointed towards his defense and those few foreshadowing sparks of offense he has had over his career as signs that there was potential that we could not overlook.

The long “anticipated” return to the New York’s lineup by Amare Stoudemire occurs today for Game 3 of the Knicks-Pacers series.
“Anticipated” is held in quotes because how Knicks fans feel is anything but hope for the return of their long-injured superstar; the overwhelming feeling is rather…dread. Continue reading
The New York Knicks look to continue their playoff-winning ways Sunday afternoon as the NBA Conference Semi-Finals continue at Madison Square Garden vs. the Pacers.
After months and years of Carmelo Anthony appearing in the Blue and Orange, he has finally destroyed the ghosts of more than a decade of playoff losing for the Knicks. But will they continue towards their path to a championship against Indiana?
New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith won the NBA’s Sixth Man Award today, topping the Los Angeles Clippers’ Jamal Crawford and The Golden State Warriors’ Jarrett Jack with 484 total points from the voting group of writers and broadcasters.

This left the Lakers at 9-14, a shell of the normal Lakers teams. Having dispatched embattled coach, Mike Brown, after only 5 games, LA was still trying to get used to D’Antoni’s “SSOL” offense.
