Rangers’ Rick Nash and J.T. Miller Score Two Highlight Goals in Their Shootout Victory over the Hurricanes

The New York Rangers escaped last night with a shootout victory over the Carolina Hurricanes, 2-1.  The offense, still struggling, was able to get something going in the 2nd when Canes goalie, Dan Ellis, was bowled over by Captain Ryan Callahan, leading to a Derek Stepan rebound goal.

They would not find the net again until the shootout, where Rick Nash and J.T. Miller would score two amazing goals to win the game.

Rangers Finally Get A Win: Marian Gaborik’s Hat Trick Beats The Bruins

Marian Gaborik completed the first Hat Trick of the season and Taylor Pyatt added another in a Rangers victory over the Bruins, Thursday night.

After two straight losses, New York found a way to finally break through early – with Gaborik scoring two goals in the first period to stake out an early lead and stop Tuukka Rask’s momentum.

A Look at Possible Rangers Cap Ramifications if the NHL Exists in 2013

News broke in the past few days that the NHL was looking to create a cap of $60 for the 2014 season and even lower past that.
Problem with that is, many teams will have quite the problem to fix if their roster has many big contracts.
