Geno Smith Might Be Improving, But His Jets Supporting Cast Definitely Has Already

Geno Smith had a rebound game against the Bills in Week 3, passing for 331 yards on 55.2% throwing, with three total touchdowns and two interceptions.

It is a marked improvement over Geno Smith’s three interception 4th quarter against the Patriots the previous week, but we will have to see more to know if that is improvement, or the difference between playing home or away.

The Wartime General: Rex Ryan, Purpose, and Survival

Winston Churchill is perhaps the most popular leader in British history.  He helped lead them to a victory in World War II.  At home, he helped set up a government coalition to unite and move to achieve great mobilization during the war period.  Churchill was a brilliant war strategist who knew not only how to motivate, but how to go about winning battles he was in, especially when he had the sudden backing and weapon of the United States following the Japanese Pearl Harbor attacks.

So why did this strong and popular leader suddenly lose an election in 1945, just months after one of the biggest victories in the history of mankind – the ending of the Second World War’s phase in Europe?

The Sanchize Crashes and Burns – The End of Defending Sanchez

And Possible Future Replacements

The time to defend Mark Sanchez is over.

There are no more reasons.  There are no more excuses.  There are no more stats.  There are no more playoff victories to look at.

Lack of talent around him no longer matters.

No, Sanchez was tasked with one thing to do: Protect the ball long enough to beat three more bad teams and make the playoffs.  He could not do that.

Buttface or Mild Hope: The Jets and Their Sanchez vs. McElroy Decision

sancheztebowmcelroyWe are essentially a week from marking a new era in Jets history.  Whether or not Greg McElroy gets the ball for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, we have probably seen the end of Mark Sanchez as “The Sanchize”.  Mark Sanchez’s ineffectiveness for most of the 2012 season has sealed his fate as it exists.
